Where do my documents go when I upload them?

Nowhere. The AI runs entirely on your phone's chip — there is no server, so your contract is never transmitted, stored in a cloud, or seen by us. "Upload" only ever means "open on this device".

Do I need an account?

No. There is nothing to sign up for and no login — open the app and read. We never ask for an email address; purchases go through Apple, and even the three-day trial starts without one.

Is this legal advice?

No. Privy Pilot reports what your document says — in plain English, with page citations you can check yourself. It is a reading aid, not a lawyer; for advice on your situation, consult a legal professional.

How do I know an answer isn't made up?

Every answer quotes the contract and cites the pages it came from, and the app tells you when it can't find a clause rather than guessing. Check the cited page before relying on anything — that's the whole point of citations.

What happens when I delete a contract?

It's removed from your device, and because no copy ever existed anywhere else, it's simply gone. Your documents are also excluded from iCloud backups so they are never silently copied to Apple's servers — which means if you lose your device, the data is lost with it. Deleting the app erases everything.

What does Privy Pilot learn about me?

As little as the App Store allows. We run no analytics and no trackers — this website doesn't even use cookies. Apple shares anonymised crash logs and download statistics only if you've opted in, and our payment provider verifies purchases against an anonymous ID. None of it can be linked to your documents, which we never see.

How much does it cost?

The app is free to download from the App Store, and every Pro feature is free for three days — no payment details, nothing to cancel. After that, Lifetime Member is a single payment of US$199: every Pro feature, on this Apple ID, forever, with nothing that renews. Prefer not to commit? Privy Pilot Pro is a monthly subscription you can cancel any time. Prices are shown in your local currency in the app.

What does Pro unlock?

Reading the contract is free: every vital and every flagged risk, with its page and quote. Pro adds the plain-English explanation of each risk, questions answered with citations, and drafted replies you can copy. The analysis itself runs the same way for everyone — on the phone.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone, iOS 17 or later. The AI model is downloaded once, on Wi-Fi, and lives on the phone; the app checks at first launch that the phone has enough memory to run it, and says so plainly if it doesn't.
